FAQs

Will my VRS number change?

No. Your VRS number(s) stay the same. You’ll use the same number(s) in Convo Call.

When will Convo VRS and Convo Link stop working?

Convo VRS and Convo Link will no longer be available starting May 4. All VRS calls will take place in Convo Call.

Will Convo for Mac and Convo for Windows still be available?

These desktop apps will no longer be available. You can use Convo Call on your computer through the web at call.convo.io.

Does Convo Call have all the same features?

Convo Call focuses on stable, high-quality calls. Some features, such as the in-call chat box, are not yet available. We’re prioritizing reliability first and will continue improving over time.

Will my Convo contacts move to Convo Call?

Yes. Your contacts and account information will be available when you log in to Convo Call.

Can I go back to Convo VRS/Convo Link?

After you log into Convo Call, you’re on Convo Call. We designed this to give you the best experience, without cross-app issues. Convo VRS and Convo Link will no longer be available starting May 4.

Why can’t I find Convo Call on the App Store, or the web?

Convo Call is currently in Early Access, so it isn’t listed in the App Store or available for public download yet. To get the app, join Early Access. When it’s your turn to switch, we’ll email you direct download instructions. Access is released in structured waves, so timing may vary.

Can I log in with the same VRS number and password?

Yes, you can log in using the same VRS number and password you use for Convo VRS/Convo Link, and you don’t need to create a new account. With Convo Call, you can log in with your email address as well!
